Loresha G. Phillips
Founder and Executive Director
Native of Hampton, VA, graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a BS in Business Management and a MS in Adult Education. Loresha is an author, teacher, motivational speaker, wife and mother of four children.
Robert Phillips IV
Co-Founder and Advocacy Director
Native of Brooklyn, NY, over 10 years of sales experience and 16 years of banking experience, Robert is a Life Coach, husband and father of four children.
Naomi Richardson
Board Chairperson
Naomi is a 1987 graduate of PSI Technical Institute of Washington in Software Engineering with more than twenty years of executive management and sales experience, managing Partner/Broker In-Charge at Triangle First Realty.
Jacques Gilbert
Board Vice-Chair
Jacques Gilbert is a native of Apex, North Carolina where he currently resides. In December of 2019, he took office as Mayor of Apex, North Carolina. In April, 2019, he retired from the Apex Police Department at the rank of Captain with 29 years of service. In 2015, Jacques was invited to the White House and recognized by President Obama and awarded "Champion of Change" due to his work with youth to build the Rodgers Family Skate Plaza in downtown Apex, and he was also recognized by the city with the Community Service Award. And in 2016, Jacques was awarded Citizen of the Year by the Apex Chamber of Commerce.
Teya Hayes
Board Treasurer
Teya is a native of Washington, DC and mother of two. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Accounting. She is also a graduate of Bowie State University with a MS in Management Information Systems and North Carolina Central University with a MS in School Administration. She has fifteen years of teaching experience and two years experience in school administration.
Annalee Richardson
Board Secretary
Annalee is is a native of southern Indiana and a 1983 graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington with a BA in Speech and Hearing Science and a Minor in Psychology. She has 30 years of Human Resources Management experience. Married for 26 years and a mother of two boys. She currently serves as the co-chair of the public issues committee for the Fuquay-Varina Womens Club.
Marilyn Marrero
Marilyn is originally from South Florida, wife, mother, and grandmother with an extensive background in commercial and residential property management. She is currently in the education field for the state of North Carolina.
Alana Sharps
Alana is a native of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and proud mother of three. As a North Carolina State University Mechanical Engineer graduate and certified Six Sigma enthusiast, Alana has coached C-Suite executives through continuous improvement processes that aligned with business strategies, increased operational efficiencies and yielded millions in corporate-wide cost savings.
When not helping high powered individuals achieve next-level success, Alana is an author and mentor for the HER Foundation assisting women through the debilitating effects of hyperemesis gravidarum.
